Very calm at night even with the highway near the hotel, large room, comfy bed, great complimentary tea in the hall. But do they know about recycling and waste management ? Everything was wrapped in plastic, even in the breakfast area : every cup, every utensil, even the apples ! There was no recyling bin anywhere in the hotel. The breakfast area was not well furnished. They were missing a lot of stuff, waiting for their groceries to arrive (it arrrived on the third day of my stay). They had no bread (only bagels and english muffins), one day they did not even have milk and orange juice. I was a but disappointed in the bathroom cleanliness and upkeep, as well as there was paint chippings and other stuff needing to be vacuumed in the hallway and as soon as you get off the elevator of our floor. It didn’t get vacuumed at all for the three days we were there. It’s kind of an indication to the level of standards and expectations from management. However, towels at the pool were stocked, bed linens were great and plenty of towels for our family, and staff at the desk was friendly snd efficient. The gentlemen at the front was kind and the pillows/bed was very comfortable. It can definitely use some refurbishing , the water in the shower doesn’t drain too well (the water is at your ankles ) and it’s warm in the hallways. The ac makes a lot of noise and there is a horn that sounds like a cruise ship horn every few minutes- not sure where that was coming from. If you’re just passing through, it’s good and breakfast is included. There were people in the hallways being loud for the most of the night. Didn’t sleep well due to the noise. This was supposed to be a nice motel. My husband and I have stayed here over the last 4-5 years as we traveled to Florida. Usually it’s pretty good. This time, it was not clean. The place looked like it needed some serious work. The hot water was not working properly, the air conditioner was very loud, the carpet had stains (I’m thinking pets?), the bed linens on one of the beds did not look clean. I’m a pet lover.
