Fabulous place - very quaint, nice rooms, pretty grounds, wine & cheese happy hour, conveniently located and walkable to a number of restaurants. Very nice breakfast.
Close enough to Napa to easily get to tours etc, but out of the busyness.
Large and comfortable rooms, and roomy bathroom. Loved sitting in the chairs in front of the fireplace, and the calming outdoor patio with a fountain. Bed was awesome!
A gem! We loved our stay. The room was super clean and spacious. So quiet and pleasant. Staff were excellent and the hosted happy hour was a highlight. The location is perfect for walking to all of the good restaurants along Washington St.
Location is amazing - within walking distance of many of the best restaurants in Napa Valley. Staff is friendly. Guests are friendly. Exactly what you’d want when saying at a B&B!
The convenience of being in town and very easy to get around made the property an ideal place to stay. The room and bathroom was very spacious and the patio garden was beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. And breakfast was wonderful.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly . And the breakfast was tasty . Added bonus - while not cheap a way better value than some of the other hotels in Yountville

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
It's in a great area and the staff are terrific, but the rooms and bathrooms are a bit tired.
This place is absolute MAGIC. We were in Room 8, which is upstairs in the main house and it felt like we were in a different world. Total Parisian apartment vibes, complete privacy, a ton of space and peaceful on another level. Do not second guess yourself on this decision. If you want the most charming, warm and welcoming little B&B in Yountville (or anywhere in Napa), this is it. I promise you! I would live here if I could.
This Inn is so lovely that it's hard to put into words. The town of Yountville is idyllic and this place fits right in. Our room was soooo nice! The spacious bathroom was very charming with its vintage tile. The room had plenty of space and the private outdoor area and fountain were the icing on the cake. Everything in town is walkable from the hotel so we appreciated just leaving our car in the lot while we visited. We used the bikes and enjoyed a ride around town. The staff were extremely pleasant and just added to the cozy feel of the place. We also appreciated the snacks/drinks offered to the guests. We are looking into another Four Sisters hotel for our next vacation. I hope they are all as nice as the Lavender Inn.
We were welcomed with wine, cheese and snacks by a cozy fireplace. It was a great time to relax and kill some time before our reservation. The personal hot tub on our patio and fireplace in our room made for a great escape from the rain. The beds were comfortable. There was a fan in the closet and a clothing steamer which we used. There was a coffee maker, fridge and and mugs/wine glasses in the room. It made opening a bottle of wine very convenient. The bathroom had a floor heater and very large tub. The coffee bar in the common area was stocked with everything you could possibly want for coffee, tea or hot cocoa. I think in earlier fall and spring it would be a fun place to go and utilize the outside firepits.
We were in room 10, which is at the top floor of the barn. It's a spacious and comfortable suite. We appreciated the amenities and the cleanliness. We found it to be quiet at night during the 4 nights we were there.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The daily breakfast was excellent. There were 1-2 hot entrees that changed daily, breads and waffles for toasting, yogurt, cereals,
fresh fruit, and pastries that changed each day. It was so nice to have a variety, and to not have to leave the property for breakfast. We didn't try the wine and cheese offered each afternoon, but my husband enjoyed getting some port each night.
The location was excellent. We used Yountville as a base to go tasting in Napa, the Sonoma area, and Calistoga. We had all of our dinners in Yountville, and most were walking distance from the hotel. The town itself is not too crowded, but there were so many places to eat! We had a great time and highly recommend Lavender.
I would definitely stay here again. They were very helpful and attentive but not in the way. It's a very quiet place just off the main road that runs through town. I loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and drinking my coffee. Close to everything we wanted to see in the valley.
