10/10 Excellent

"The property was beautiful. Although the parking lot was across the street, there was a tunnel that went under the road to safely access the parking lot. The pool was large and friendly staff was present. My kids enjoyed the daily bingo and activities. The ice cream shop was closed which was a bummer, but there are other ice cream shops across the road and within walking distance. We did not use the restaurant onsite."

"The location is great! It's a smaller hotel right on the beach. It is beside sharks and shares a parking lot so you will likely have to park in the lot across the street. We stayed in a room with a kitchen. The microwave did not work but the brought us one same night. The hotel is not updated so plugs were an issue. Over all if your on vacation for the beach and not the room its a good place to stay."

"The location is the best thing about this property. The pool looked nice although we did not use it. The beach access is super easy. Our room was Ocean view which was very nice. The check-in process was very simple, but the staff was not very friendly and did not provide any information outside of handing us a room key. The exterior was very old and rundown. The bathroom in our room desperately needs updating. The tub was not clean however, the sink and countertop have been updated and that part was clean and fresh. Our king bed was comfortable with clean sheets so that was a relief. They need doormats to wipe the sand as there is no carpet in the room. The small balcony had two chairs with a great view, but the AC unit was leaking onto the floor, causing a huge puddle with mildew, gross. The small tiki bar was a nice benefit, but the drinks are overpriced for the surroundings at that hotel. Our room rate was way too high, but we booked very late and it was the only thing left available in the area. It was a sufficient day for one night because we only used the room to shower and sleep. But I would not return to this property."

"We enjoyed our view of the Gulf from our 3rd floor balcony and easy access to the beach. Across the street is a cute 50’s All American Diner for and affordable Breakfast buffet as this hotel has no food included. There is a mini fridge and microwave if you need. We had neighbors above our balcony that smoked pot almost the whole time so I guess that’s something you might have to experience. If you forget any beach or need drinks and snack items there are a few stores across the street as well. As for the room again, we slept good, enjoyed our stay and appreciated the 2 bedroom suite that was ready when we arrived with a friendly check in and we were able to get a late check out with no problem."

"We stayed on the third floor for 5 days. 2 adults and 1 teen. This property really needs some maintenance attention and could use some fresh paint. The elevator was broken a couple of times and we were unable to use it, our floor had multiple doors that would not lock for guest, so they left doors ajar, hot tub was out of order during the entire stay, the guest clothes dryer did not work properly, no batteries in the smoke detectors in our room and overheard a guest asking about it as well, remote did not work on the tv. Our shower was not draining because the shower the water pooled away from the drain. The office chair was also not great to use as it kept sliding down. Positives were the breakfast and the cleaning staff were very friendly, breakfast area was clean and decent food. We would not stay here again. Definitely nicer stays on the beach."
