« Loved our time in the Kanto House. Perfect location for a getaway to hiking the Blue Ridge Parkway. We saw some of Brevard’s famed white squirrels right in the neighborhood (after driving around the local college and park for an hour!) The kitchen is fully updated, and there’s a docking station for your Nintendo Switch in the living room. Loved the quirky gaming design elements throughout the house. Would gladly stay here again if I ever make it back to North Carolina/Brevard! »

« This was our second time visiting BLR. The first time we stayed near the Greeter's Cottage (ie: the entrance to the community) but the drive to the Lake Club was a long and windy 20min. This time we decided to stay closer to the Clubhouse, and Kelly's home is only about 5min away. It was great for easy access with our 3 young kids! « This place is amazingly peaceful. Tons of outdoor activities are within a short drive. Pretty place chapel was the main reason for our vist to the area and was within a short drive (20min) and we were able to make a sunrise viewing with no problem. The cabin was very nice and clean. Definitely recommend giving this one a look if you are traveling to the Brevard area. »

« Understanding I was staying at the barn to get away and focus on work, the area was beautiful. I enjoyed looking out of the large sliding glass doors to the stream and meadow beyond. Neighbors were a bit noisy but most people would not be working and staying at the barn all the time. The hosts were VERY responsive. « Enjoyed “Mammy’s” cabin outside of Franklin, NC. Cabin is well equipped and really enjoyed hot tub after long drive from Florida. Great location just be prepared for bit of drive up the mountain (some gravel narrow roads) and is probably 20 minute drive fro Franklin. Took a day to drive to Highlands and Rosman, beautiful drive on 64.Great views and very peaceful, will come back again! »
