  • A newly built mother-in-law apartment in the lower level of our beautiful home on 5 acres of Appalachian forest. Your space includes a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, sitting area, patio with private entrance.

    This is the perfect space for two adults, and we have infant or toddler essentials available by request.

    Enjoy best of both worlds at this peaceful mountain hideaway. Conveniently located just 10 minutes to downtown Brevard, 15 minutes to Pisgah National Forest, and 20 minutes to DuPont State Forest. Whether you're here to hike, bike, or run in the great outdoors we've got you covered. If you just want to relax in the mountains with some peace and quiet, we've got that covered too!

Fantastic cozy cabin suite!

We absolutely loved this rental. It was quiet and isolated yet quite close to downtown Brevard and lots of great hikes. The property was spacious and well-appointed and the bed is super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area!

The apartment was much bigger than expected. Clean and modern. Had everything we needed and more. Lots of natural light coming through the sliding glass doors. The location was secluded with nice mountain views yet only an 11 minute drive to town. Would definitely stay there again.

Spacious and pleasant walk-out basement apartment in a secluded area in the middle of nature! Not far from downtown Brevard NC and Looking Glass Falls, we enjoyed exploring the area.The furniture and especially the bed was most comfortable! Neat, tidy, and clean…and did I mention very affordable! We stayed August 25-29th. I would definitely look forward to staying there again!

They made their basement into a very thoughful space. The kitchen had every appliance you can imagine. Really nice cooking pans etc. Very private yet convenient to downtown Brevard. We love the area and will try and reserve this again. A very good value!

Nice, tidy apartment. Decorated and clean. A few things: Road to house is in need of great repair. I felt like my car would tear up.People are above you and you hear walking and a baby.The living room chairs are really not for sitting for long periods of time, like a movie.Other than that, Brevard and surrounding areas are great!

The space itself was great, clean and spacious, and easy to check in & out of. Had all the basic amenities. The problem with this rental was the noise that woke us up at 7 AM both mornings. There was a toddler running back and forth loudly right above our room, furniture being moved and hammering every morning beginning at 7 and ending around 10:30 / 11am. To give context on how loud this was, my partner sleeps with noise canceling ear buds and was still woken up both mornings.In the bedroom there's a locked door which I suspect is access to the main house laundry room. On the second morning of our stay, someone was doing laundry in said room with the toddler talking loudly & it sounded like they were in the room with us. My partner and I were celebrating our 4 year anniversary & this was not the type of noise or environment we were expecting nor desiring. I have two kids and they were toddlers once so, I understand how unintentionally noisy they can be. However, We were not pleased that we had paid for lodging and like clockwork every morning we were woken by all the loud noises that went on consistently. I would not recommend staying here due to this and there should be advance notice to future guests about the noise if it cannot be managed. Sleep is really important to us and an isolated suite in the woods is the last place we expected to be dealing with so much noise.

Perfect little get away. Beautiful and cozy. Highly recommend if you are in the area. We were there to take our son to camp and it was absolutely perfect. Very thankful to have found this little gem tucked away in the beautiful mountains.

Everything was perfect at this suite. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was spacious and had all you could need. The host family was helpful and we enjoyed meeting them. Our stay was wonderful.
