We had a wonderful stay. Everything was considered here down to the smallest detail. Having a parking spot was awesome and so was the proximity to walk to so many restaurants and the river. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

The Elephant on Market is a wonderful VRBO. We were in Wilmington for our son's wedding. Very nicely decorated with comfy furniture. Nice Kitchen area with glasses, mugs, plates, utensils, coffee maker. Beds are comfy with overhead fans. Shower is large with great water pressure. Love the hardwood floors. Not loud and you do not hear traffic. We felt safe at night walking the couple of blocks from the wedding venue.

This place is better than the pictures. Exceptionally clean, comfy beds and linens, perfect location and EVERYTHING you need and more. Communication with host was quick and easy. Detailed check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow.

From A-Z this property checked all the boxes. The location is perfect as restaurants, stores, pubs, bars, etc. are all walking distance. Also near the river. The property has a elegant vibe and very modern. Paula is also an excellent host, providing excellent communication. The beach is about 20 out, a very easy commute. Overall very impressed and will be booking when I make my return to Wilmington. Thank you Paula, we had a blast.

Graduation trip

What an amazing place! It was absolutely gorgeous, with great care taken with the details to ensure guest comfort. The location what perfect, exactly what we were looking for! I've lived in Wilmington before and was back in town for my niece's graduation. I knew we wanted to stay downtown and this could not have been more perfect! It is far enough back in the building that you cannot hear any noise from the late night crowds, but so perfect for just popping out of the door and you are right in the middle of downtown. Will absolutely stay again!

Excellent!!!

Our stay was wonderful. The property was beautiful and located in a perfect area. It was so convenient having parking included. We didnt realize how important that was until we arrived. It was our first time in Wilmington. The record player was so cool! There was a yoga mat, puzzles, games, coffee, snacks, beach gear.. I cant even name all of the extras! Communication with Paula was so easy and she responded quickly to any concern and then checked back with us to make sure we were okay. I'd recommend this property in a heartbeat and when we come back to Wilmington, we will stay here.

Home Away from Home

Thank you Paula for such a lovely home away from home. My husband and I live in Topsail (about an hour away) and had tickets to a show at the Wilson Center. We love downtown Wilmington and have stayed at many VRBO spots over the years. This is by far my favorite. Location, comfort, style, thinking of things you don't know you need. I had to work and found it easy to have a remote office with the essentials like power cords and a comfortable chair. While we are in Wilmington about 2-3 times a month we discovered a whole new city due to Paula's recommendations. As owners of a rental ourselves we notice the little things...that really are the big things. Can't wait to return! Laurel and Norm

Best stay in downtown Wilmington !

The Elephant on market is absolutely amazing. Location is right in the middle of downtown and easy walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the water. The loft apartment is beautiful, cozy, great natural light and eclectic vibe. The furniture is comfortable, kitchen stocked, bedrooms are spacious and the shower has great water pressure. Super clean. checkin instructions organized and communicated well. Paula is a gracious host, welcomed us in and let us drop our bags /checkin in early due to arrival time and loft being ready . The parking spot across the street was a bonus , it can get expensive and inconvenient to find parking downtown. My sister and I + daughters had a girls weekend with my daughter currently in school at UNCW- our sta y at the elephant on market was the best way to start a long weekend - we will be back and this will be our place from now on. I have stayed at 5 properties in downtown Wilmington and this is a gold star rating. Thanks Paula!

I travel everywhere and this is by far the best ever! I would definitely stay here again! 1. The decor looks like something out of a magazine! This place is absolutely stunning with no detail overlooked. 2. I was traveling with someone who needs knee surgery so having an elevator was perfect! 3. The location was in the heart of all shopping, restaurants, pubs, wine bars, history, River, etc. The location was wonderful. 4. The apartment was very clean, beds were so comfortable, shower was beautiful, very stocked with supplies, coffee, large TV, nice linens, plenty of towels, quiet, etc. 5. Paula is a gem! Excellent communication and goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is the best ever. Cannot say enough about this wonderful host! If you are traveling to Wilmington, I hope you get the opportunity to stay in this beautiful place. I am already looking forward to returning. Our stay at Elephant on Market was great!. Perfect location - walk to the river, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. The parking spot across the street was so convenient. Amazing Experience - Will be back!

Loved this cute space. We are local and did a stay-cation here for our honeymoon. It was in the most convenient location - super close to all my favorite shops and restraunts. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Elephant on Market

This stay was one of the best VRBO places I have ever stayed in. It was clean, well supplied with towels, kitchen items, and very well decorated. Paula did an excellent job communicating with me and was prompt in doing so. The location was excellent to restaurants, bars and shops. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wilmington!!!
