There were 7 of us that booked Buckeye Cottage for a weekend. It is a very nice home in a beautiful country farm setting. We even saw deer in the backyard. It was very clean and the host provided several amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. The primary bedroom with a king bed was spacious and had its own bathroom. There was one other bathroom with a tub/shower. The upstairs bedrooms were small, but we expected this for an older farmhouse. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5, is that we had 3 couples expecting to sleep on beds (double, queen, and king). One of the upstairs beds was a twin, which forced one of the couples to sleep on a pull-out couch. There were 2 pull-out couches available. They were very uncomfortable and one couple left to find lodging elsewhere because of this. (It is difficult to sleep when there is a large crack in the surface under your back.) The quality of the pull-out couches might be ok for a young person/teen/kid, but not for anyone who may need more support for their back. We contacted the host about the discrepancy in the types of beds in the original post. He apologized and has since corrected the post and listed the correct type of beds in each bedroom. We would stay here again, but our expectations for how many people can sleep here comfortably has changed since we now know what types of beds are available.
