« Nice welcome on arrival and advice on local parking restrictions. Nice residential area only ten minutes walk to the harbour and other attractions. Spacious bedroom with mini fridge. Would recommend this to anyone visiting Whitby, although Room only there are plenty of places to eat locally. »

« Had a lovely stay at Argyle House, was comfortable and convenient. Easy to find and Bill gives you all the information you need. Close to major attractions and in a very walkable area. Room was clean and the slight gothic decor in our room was fun and on theme for the area. »

« The room was great for our needs, very spacious with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. I was holidaying with my teenage granddaughter and the twin beds gave us plenty of room. It was about a 10 minute walk to the harbour (anout 30 minutes to walk back, it's a very steep hill! Dont believe google maps that says mostly flat!) There is a bus stop outside the hotel but we didn't use it. However, on our last evenung we had a taxi and it was £4.50. »

« L'emplacement face à la mer est vraiment appréciable. On peut prendre son thé, préparé dans la chambre, sur un banc et admirer le paysage. On peut aller dans la vieille ville facilement à pied. »
