The owner was very welcoming and helpful... Room was clean but shower cubicle could do with a clean around bottom screen hinge. Spent 2 nights here and could walk to town area and beach. Rain was quite persistent during our time but rain coats and umbrellas got us everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast absolutely delicious would eat it for lunch and dinner.. ..

Room was comfortable but a little cramped for two people . Tea /coffee making was available but didn’t use , shower was very good with plenty of hot water. Clean and soft towels.Breakfast was excellent and Tamsin the host was very friendly. We’ve been before and will definitely go again. Just a 10 minute stroll to the front with shops and bars .

Nothing was too much for the owner to deal with made us feel welcome from the start and made sure our parking pass was placed in the car before the wardens came around breakfast was lovely plenty on the plate good choice of cereal thanks again will defo stay agin in the future

A Hidden Gem in Whitby! Our experience at The Beaches was simply wonderful, largely thanks to Tamsin, a genuinely perfect hostess. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the location couldn't be better, perfectly situated for exploring the historic Abbey, fascinating museums, and charming pubs. The breakfast was a real highlight, delicious! We will wholeheartedly recommend this guest house and are certainly planning our return trip.
