« Such a comfortable place to stay. Although small, the room has everything needed including fresh milk and water. We stated for two nights and we returned to find fresh towels and milk and water refreshed. Staff were friendly too. Great stay. »

« As soon as we artived the owner met us and took us ti our topm. Explained the entry procedure. The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation. The only slight doenside we were led to believe there was a bar and food but it is currently being reurbushed. »

« We stayed here for 1 night to go to The Elderflower restaurant. The actual pub is a bit tired but our room was £108.00 and really lovely, with an extra large bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities. Staff were really helpful. I would recommend without hesitation. »

« Hotel idéalement situé en face du red ferry. Bonne bière tiède au rez de chaussée dont l'odeur remonte malheureusement dans les chambres. Nuit animée par les pintés. Alarme incendie à une heure du matin. Chambre et locaux communs dont la décoration a du être revue par Churchill. Propreté en peinture en supplément j'imagine (sauf la literie nickel). Porte de la chambre ne fermant pas ou avec grand bruit. Petit déjeuner squelettique sauf à prendre un supplément. Seul hotel compatible avec les...

« There was no wardrobe or desk in the room The shower was magnificent The staff were superlative Obviously there is no lift as it is an old building not the staff took my luggage to the room The location is excellent For a single male the accommodation is fine but I imagine ladies would expect more comfort I had a wonderful stay and the staff were wonderful »

« The food was amazing! We had dinner there and found it delicious. Plus, the breakfast was fab too. The rooms were cosy and bed comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much. Service was great too! »

« Home from home with fantastic grounds lots to do for all ages. Swimming pool was amazing the whole family spent hours outside and the teenagers weren't on their phones. We will be back next year hopefully »

« Could do with some updating. For instance who put the bathroom cabinet and mirror up. Need to stand on tips of toes to shave. Also the mirror in the twin room. Shower door needs new water seal along the bottom edge - looks as though never cleaned YUK! The settees are looking very tired with holes and internal stuffing showing. The electric fire in the lounge does not work. The lounge clock has stopped. Quite a few ants on the prowl but no ant powder? If you are going to provide a 'J Cloth' then...

« Ce "room2 Southampton" est une vraie surprise ! Une chambre extrêmement confortable, spacieuse, avec tout le nécessaire (y compris une kitchenette)... bref, on se sent comme à la maison ! La localisation est parfaite, au calme (juste à côté d'un parc qui isole de la circulation), tout en étant à deux pas du centre-ville ; et en particulier à proximité immédiate de quelques excellents pubs typiques de Southampton, avis aux amateurs... J'y retournerai les yeux fermés ! »
