"Spatious 2 bedroom apartment with dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen & living room. Clean and convenient to transport and grocery shopping. Only challenge was the check-in process is really complex and required 3 separate payments (security deposit, cleaning fee, local taxes) before getting the final access details. Several days of back and forth messaging were needed leading up to the stay. Wouldn't be possible if you weren't constantly connected before arriving. "

Opened in 1889, The Polybahn, is a funicular railway in the city of Zürich. The line links the Central square with the terrace by the main building of ETH Zürich. 

In 1970 the polybahn closed, and in 1996 was completely rebuilt.

There are 2 stops, with automatic 2 cars on a single track with a passing loop.  The track is 176m long and rises 41m, with an average gradient of 23%.

"The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurant, shops and all of the sights. Rooms are clean and a good size, with relatively comfortable beds. We were only in Zurich for one evening before flying home and this was a great hotel selection. You’re close to the train station (700 m), although we took a 15 minute UBER to the airport. "
