Near the charming village of Wedmore, Somerset, this beautifully renovated 3-bedroom luxury cottage is the perfect rural retreat. Elegantly furnished with a blend of style, luxury and comfort, it offers the ideal base for exploring the stunning local countryside. As a romantic getaway, family holiday, or peaceful rural haven, this cottage offers something for everyone. The outstanding master bedroom features a kingsize bed, a beamed ceiling, an original stone feature wall and patio doors that open to breathtaking views, plus an ensuite walk-in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to a kingsize bed on request. This room also boasts an ensuite shower cubicle.  
  
A stunning mezzanine area with two single beds is accessible via a steep, bespoke staircase (not suitable for young children). The living/diner is thoughtfully designed, with a wood burner, Smart TV, and dining table seating six, creating a perfect space for family or friends to gather. The fully equipped kitchen includes a coffee pod machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. Underfloor heating throughout ensures year-round comfort, and outside, you can enjoy countryside views relaxing on the private patio, furnished with quality outdoor seating. There is ample parking, including an EV charging point (chargeable by usage - available by prior arrangement) and a large lawned area for play.  
  
This charming cottage is within easy reach of the historic city of Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, and Wookey Hole, and only 10 miles from the coast, making it the ultimate Somerset getaway. The Local Area Wedmore is a picturesque village in the heart of the Somerset Levels, which has bird wetlands, fabulous scenic walks and cycling. The village offers a charming mix of traditional cottages, and local shops including a bakery, village store, cafes and excellent (3!) pubs serving delicious food and local ales. The area is renowned for its stunning natural beauty, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Within the rolling hills of the Mendips, Cheddar Gorge is a short drive away. Explore impressive limestone cliffs, caves, and hiking routes for a taste of local history. Nearby Glastonbury, with its rich history and spiritual significance, is home to the famous Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, offering a fascinating mix of mythology and ancient history. Also nearby is Wookey Hole, a stunning network of caves perfect for exploring with the family.
