« Stayed here with husband, son and daughter-in-law to attend a family wedding nearby. The apartment was spotless, beds comfortable, kitchen well-equipped (not that we cooked as there are many restaurants in the area. The deck and beach were wonderful. It’s one of three units in the building but it was quiet and felt very private. Alex was very helpful. The house rules are reasonable and easy to follow. Probably best for adults and older children. »

« Had the good old field of what we always called a "camp." Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and glassware, etc. The lobster processing facility made for a bit of noise and a pretty steady stream of traffic. A lot of trucks, from pickups to semis coming in and out. Didn't really bother us a whole lot but it might bother other people. Overall the view of the water was pretty nice except for the power lines and there's not much that can be done about that. Have to have electricity after all. »

« We booked this over a year ago before our wedding and the host was very quick at responding and answering our questions. The groomsmen and their dates and my family loved it! This is a great location for it all, one thing to be aware, we had it in June and it was perfect weather to have windows open. There is no AC but only AC units in some rooms if needed. « Very nice cottage on Deer Isle with everything you need. Away from Bar Harbor and Acadia crowds, but close enough if you plan on driving there for a day or two. Rachael was always available if we had any questions about how to get around the Isle, things to do, etc. Her husband’s lobsters was the best we had in a long time. I definitely recommend. 😊 »
