My mother and I stayed in this convenient, clean and comfortable home with two young girls (age 5 and 10) in July, 2016 for two weeks. The house had lots of girls' toys so they had a plenty of entertainment. The kitchen was newly remodeled, and had a plenty of cooking tools, utensils and spices that we could use. There was a patio with a propane BBQ grill, and it worked great for a quick meal preparation. The wifi worked good for the entire time we were there, and it was nice to have Netflix availability. The house had everything we needed for the linens, supplies and tools. The master bed room was located on the upper floor and the 2nd bed room was located in the basement, and an infant bed was available in the upper floor 2nd bedroom, but we did not use the room for sleeping. The best thing about this house is the location. We can pretty much walk to anywhere. Cook Street Village is less than a block away, so we could just walk for a few minutes to the shopping street whenever we need for something. Beacon Hill park, the local gem of Victoria, was right next to the Cook Street Village, and we were there almost every day, but we’d never got tired of visiting the park for the beauty, friendliness, and a variety of facilities available for sports and playground amenities. Depending on our schedule, we could choose for a long walk or a quick drive to get to the beach, Inner Harbor, and downtown area. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe, and people were very friendly and nice. I’d like to thank the owner, Shane for making us feel very welcomed and comfortable with his personalized note upon arrival, quick responses to all our questions and helpful advices. We can hardly wait to come back and rent this house again!
