"Pet suite, could smell that a dog previously had peed on the carpet or near the AC. When the air would turn on we smelled it. Not surprised as we booked the only room accommodating for pets and had a new kitten with us on short notice. It’s a pet room, after all. Room could use better cleaning in the nooks and crannies as there was dog hair in some of the corners. 7/10 for room/bathroom cleanliness (the bathroom grout between the tiles was pretty gross) but 9/10 for bath tub cleanliness (specifically). Bed was made terribly- we were sleeping on the mattress itself as the mattress liner and sheet slid off in about 5 mins. We were pleasantly surprised to have a mini kitchenette and cooktop, though! What a bonus. The end of hall had a wet dog or dog urine smell to it but again- the pet suite is the last suite in the main floor hall which is away from anything else except a stair case. The hall did get a bit loud at 5:30 am onwards ESPECIALLY since this suite is direct across from the stair well door that loudly opens and closes. The door of the hotel room is not sealed and lets in quite a bit of light from the hall. Breakfast was good, sausages were delicious. Juice machine was soooo good. Coffee was fresh. Check in service was prompt and professional. Real feedback, but cannot complain! Would book again if we had our pet with us."

"Clean,spacious comfy room with super helpful and friendly staff. Still remnants of the historic Brunswick Hotel for those looking for a trip down memory lane. Elevator access to upper rooms. Only downside was roofing crew working right outside 2nd floor rooms starting at about 07:30am"

"The rooms had some of the most comfortable beds I've enjoyed in a long time. If I had a complaint, it'd be that the exterior door of my room didn't latch without a bit of extra force. I managed to go the whole night with the door not being latched until 7:40 am when the door itself opened a bit. Also, as I think of it, it took far too long (around 25 minutes with only one person being ahead of us) to get checked in, even having paid in advance. As well, I thought that the 'to go' option for check out was interesting, but wholly strange that nearly none of it was remotely a useful replacement for breakfast, and a complimentary breakfast was not available, despite being something we have come to expect, since this was the first place in a long time that didn't offer it. We don't always take advantage of it, often opting to pay for a full breakfast, but the lack of it was noticable. Since April, we'd had seventeen different hotel stays each, and this was the first where a breakfast was not offered. I'd easily stay there for the beds, but that lack of even a continental breakfast feels like a misstep, and perhaps a sense of urgency to check people in would be well recieved."
