"Overall Towan is a nice little cottage however there is no privacy at all ,every window has footpath right next to it for people using the other cottages. A shortage of kitchen equipment ( saucepans, no slotted cooking spoon, showers very poor, insufficient pressure and water cutting out. Thankfully the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and Iâ€™m sure the above can easily be remedied . Thank you."

"Overall all good and would stay again we were just a little disappointed about the pool not being open we tried to go Saturday morning but that was booked out too and we had made plans that day tried again on Sunday morning but we also got turned away again little disappointing but then we spent the day at tolcarne beach which was lovely and not far from our stay"

"I have been to the Alverton several times but this was the first time we stayed here. It was a lovely sunny afternoon/evening and we had cocktails on the patio overlooking the lovely gardens. We had a standard room inside the hotel and it looks much better in situ than the website photos - a very comfortable stay. We were very pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a bottle of frizzante on arrival."
