"Staff was nice and accommodating. Go to the room in the 3rd floor, and at first glance noticed how old, dingy and smelly it was. I kept my stuff in the hallway until I could inspect the place. I checked the beds and didn’t notice anything out of order. Then I was about to put my purse on the desk where the coffee was, a ton of ants or what ever those bus were, started running around. GROSS!!! I can handle ants but on the 3rd floor, and obviously living anywhere where any food might be. I decided to leave immediately. The staff gave me a refund thankfully. He stated that other hotels in the area are even worse and people come to this pace to escape those places. GROSS!!! "

"You get your own little house unit with many amenities. There is even a Keurig coffee brewer. Very cozy and comfortable. Beautiful natural surroundings. Definitely recommended!"

"I made my reservation over 6 months ago and when I checked in, the owner said there was no room available for me and he transferred me to his partner property, which is over 10mins away from river inn and literally at the edge of the town. I have been staying for two nights and already paid in full, but the second day my key didn’t work and the receptionist at the front desk couldn’t find my information in her computer. My information was logged in by the owner of River Inn during check-in and apparently there was no proper communication between them. "

"Simple and Clean property, Amazing location with nearby River. Quick drive to Sequioa national park, Bit expensive for a Motel. But cleanliness, Facilities are better than expected. Would recommend."

"AVOID THIS PROPERTY! I'm not one to write reviews, but people must be warned! We stayed in the "budget" cabin and had to check out a night early because it was so gross. The door to the outside did not seal, which let in a lot of bugs. The cracked front window from what looked like a BB was unnerving. The vanity lights and bathroom fan did not work at all and the lock on the bathroom window was falling off. The towels were so small that I initially thought they were the hand towels, and they smelled badly of cigarette smoke. They say they don't charge a cleaning fee, but the place really needs a deep clean. I was ghosted when I asked the host for a partial refund. "

"Shower drain had hair in it. Carpet tack strip with the nails was exposed on the floor in front of the bathroom. Surfaces were dusty. We chose this place based on the location but will not be returning."
