Funky hotel. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good.

This hotel is adequate and in a great location, but nothing fancy. The staff was amazing. I found their room to be OK. The bathroom was very awkward just because there was a step up to get to it and it was incredibly tiny. The problem I had was that the only heat in the room was in the bathroom and as you know, Iceland is cold. The bed was also not very comfortable and felt more like a toddler bed than an adult bed. A comfy chair in the room would've been awesome as well, especially for longer stays, which is what I had.

No Pool! even though the main photo of the listing is of a pool, there is no pool on site, they offer access to a public pool about a mile away. To me, the whole point was to be able to go down for a quick swim with the kids, not have to venture out, find parking and all that hassle. That was very frustrating. Pool aside, the apartment was very nice. Clean and modern. Great view of the sunset over the ocean. If you're looking for a place with a pool, this isn't it. If you don't care about the pool or don't mind a small side trip to use the pool, it's very nice and I would recommend.
