Conveniently situated just a 10-minute stroll from Telluride's busy Main Street, this lovely condo offers the perfect base for enjoying all that Telluride and neighboring Mountain Village have to offer. Double Diamond is uniquely furnished and decorated and comes with nice community amenities that include access to the hot tub. Guests enjoy true ski-in/ski-out access thanks to this vacation rental's close proximity to the Coonskin lift, and the river is nearby as well.

Double Diamond boasts one bedroom and two baths, and it's just right for one couple with up to two children or two couples thanks to its extra sleeping spaces. This condo offers two levels and a full 800 square feet of cozy living space.

The LIVING ROOM features a cool southwestern theme in its decor, and guests may relax on the comfy leather sofa or armchair with a footrest in front of the fireplace. A large flat-screen television with cable, Apple TV and a DVD player is available as well. The fully-equipped KITCHEN comes with plenty of counter and cabinet space, a drip coffee maker and newer appliances. Meals may be enjoyed at the wood table with four chairs or at the breakfast bar.

The KING PRIMARY SUITE has a separate seating area and a small office space along with a private bath with a tub/shower combo. Extra sleeping spaces are found on the sleeper sofa in the living room and up the wooden ladder into the loft where you'll discover a comfortable queen-size bed.

Guests of Double Diamond can walk right out the door and over to the Telluride Academy that offers incredible youth adventure programs and the San Juan Outdoor School where you may enjoy outdoor activities all year round for every age group. You'll also be not far from the popular restaurants of There and Siam and shopping at Clark's Market.

I loved the entire trip. The place was merely 50yds to Lift 7. The place was exactly as pictured... Very roomy, well equipped and close to town center. We actually used the Galloping Goose bus alot. Free bus service that takes you on a loop through town and stops right outside the DD3.

Ski trip with a friend

The unit fit our needs and and was very convenient to walk to town and be nice to the lift for ski access. The check in instructions were a little confusing on how to find the unit and we didn’t understand from the listing that the main bedroom was on the floor with the entry and the main floor w lift were upstairs. Having a code for the garage would be a lot easier than carrying the garage remote around when needing to access ski gear but the multiple different codes (ski gate, hot tub, unit door ) made it hard to remember the codes.

Beautiful condo. Super clean. Amazing communication with the management company. Right on the free transit line, the Galloping Goose. A few items to note: the unit is multiple stories, one flight up from the ground masterlevel, another up to the den/kitchen

Property was well appointed and represented accurately. Great communication by management company, had a slight hiccup with the loft linen not being changed out, but a quick call took care of that, rest of condo was spotless. Overall experience was great and would stay again.

Great location for experienced skiers!

We loved our stay at Double Diamond. We could ski in, ski out daily on the intermediate runs right outside our door. If you’re skiing solely greens, the path home is a little longer but you can’t beat the scenery! Just stunning! The kitchen was very nicely equipped for people who like cooking. The garage was a big plus too!

Great place and convenient location

This is a great place to stay and close to the Coonskin lift. This is not a place to stay if you don’t like stairs. Garage was helpful to have to leave skis and poles after skiing. We will be back!

Wonderful stay in Telluride

This is our second trip to Telluride for Spring Break, and we stayed at the Double Diamond both times, but in different units. This unit was more expensive, but was beautiful and very nice to come back to after a long, but fun, day on the slopes. Well appointed and management was very communicative.

Great option in Telluride

This condo was a nice place to stay in Telluride. Overall we had a really good experience and the condo was clean. I’m not sure if it was made clear in the listing, but one of the beds is lofted and you have to climb a ladder to get to it. This was somewhat challenging. The place was clean and we were a 10-15 minute walk maximum from everything we did in town.

Great location and beautiful place!

The condo was perfect for a week of great skiing in Telluride! There was plenty of space in the unit for three of my friends and I. The location is right next to Lift 7, practically ski-in and ski-out. The best market in town is a 5 minute walk and main strip downtown in less than a 15 minute walk. Exceptional Stays was very friendly and great in responding to our needs in a timely manner. We will definitely be back in Telluride and will hopefully stay in this condo again!

Two Weeks In Telluride

We needed a place that we could be comfortable in for two weeks while our home is under construction and prior to leaving for Texas. Easy walking to town and Gondola. Close to our favorite restaurants. Great having a shared garage to store bikes. Host was very helpful at check-in and departure!

The unit was primarily meant to be used for 1 couple. In my communication with the Exceptional Stay management I was discouraged from using the loft for obvious reasons. The steepness of the ladder and the angle of the ceiling. Thank God I did not even try. Like many of the properties in Telluride the management tries to maximize the space i.e., kitchen appliances are squeezed in. For the most part the space is functional and the location is priority. The kitchen ware was very good.

Super convenient location, furnishings and finishes a bit dated.

We had a great time. just a hundred yards to the coonskin lift and a garage space to keep snow off of our car. Super convenient location, just a few blocks to the grocery store and right on the bus line for easy access to downtown & gondola. Plenty of room for lots of guests but the dining table & chairs took up most of the living rm & there is only room for 4 people to eat. Overall a great experience.
