« This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. No food available on the first night, but the owners were happy to recommend and book somewhere for us to eat. Their kitchen was open the second night and the quality was excellent. « Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend. »

« very nice room, recently rtenovated and you could tell. restaurant had a good mix of food on and bar staff very welcoming. had a dog with us and no issues. he was well looked after. its on a tourist route but actually the staff looked like they really enjoyed their jobs. warm fire in the evenning and the brewery was nice too. »

« The room was excellent, bed was so comfortable that we slept in on our 1st night, leaving only 1 and a half hours to get ready for a wedding we were going to. The bathroom was lovely, a large shower with rainfall head. Very deep bath that we used on 2nd day. A great menu and restaurants to choose from. « room was great, pub was very nice downstairs too and staff were very friendly. The expedia booking site said that the hotel had parking, however this is not the case - not a problem at all and the staff helpfully directed us towards a very local car park (5 minute walk away). »
