Top Tardona Hotel Reviews

City Hotel Miskolc

City Hotel Miskolc

8/10 Good
"The staff are friendly, the room was spacious, and the breakfast was very good. My only issue was with the wellness center. The whirlpool had several of the jets not working and the steam room was not operational. But overall, this is a nice hotel."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Tardona?
The best area to stay in Tardona is the village centre, particularly around the main square and along Petőfi Sándor utca.

This area is the heart of Tardona, offering a pleasant and convenient base for your visit. You'll find the local church, the village hall, and a few small shops and eateries here. The streets are generally quiet and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find the village centre ideal. It offers a chance to experience local Hungarian village life, with opportunities for gentle strolls through the countryside or enjoying a quiet evening at a local guesthouse. The proximity to nature trails and the tranquil setting make it great for unwinding.

For solo travellers seeking a quiet retreat, staying in the village centre offers a sense of calm and accessibility to local amenities.
When is the best time to go to Tardona?
The best time to go to Tardona is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly mild, with fewer crowds than the peak summer season. This makes it ideal for exploring the surrounding Bükk Mountains and enjoying outdoor activities without the intense heat. You'll find the natural landscapes particularly beautiful, with wildflowers in bloom in spring and colourful foliage in autumn.

For those who enjoy hiking and nature, these months offer comfortable temperatures for exploring the national park. The air is crisp, and the trails are generally dry, great for discovering the region's caves, waterfalls, and viewpoints.

If you prefer warmer weather for lake activities or simply lounging outdoors, July and August are also good options, though they can be busier and hotter.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Tardona.
How much is the nightly rate at a Tardona hotel?
Prices for hotels in Tardona often vary, but you can find a great deal from CA $88 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
