"The first room we were shown was not very clean. However, when we brought this to the manager’s attention, she promptly arranged for us to move to a newly renovated room. The new room was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the manager’s responsiveness and ultimately had a wonderful stay!"

"This was one of our favourite stays while visiting Nova Scotia/Cape Breton. The hotel was kept very clean and cozy and we loved that there was a tea/coffee room at the end of every hallway on each floor. Our room was quaint and beautifully vintage and there was unique art hung across all the walls. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Loved that it was so centrally located as well! We were able to walk to and from the concert venue for Celtic Colours which was a huge plus."
