« The road is a tough drive, but the property is worth it. Nails the old west town feel and while there aren't a ton of amenities, the shared kitchen is one we will be back for next vacation with the kids and family. Has a summer camp vibe I loved but with air conditioned room, hot water, and a comfortable room. Not too far from Terlingua and big bend national park. Roads can be a bit white knuckle after dark, but that's everywhere in this part of Texas. For the price probably the best value...

« WOW! What a fun house. We watched the sunset from the pool and turned around and watched the stars by the campfire. Really enjoyed the eye for detail in the construction of the house. You can even see the stars from your bed or while taking shower outside. We will definitely be back. PS. Thanks for letting us bring Miss Belle. »

« The Saloon was so cool to stay in! The front porch was great to sit on and the back had a gorgeous view. It was not convenient to get food (or anything else for that matter) but this was made clear ahead of time so we went prepared. The road was flooded out when we got there but this was also a warning ahead of time and we had a truck so had no issues. We'd go back for sure. This was our favorite place to stay out of an 8 hotel trip. »
