« The room was clean, supplied well and was perfect for gorgeous views of the sunset, stars and mountains. It had a nice fire pit but a burn ban prevented us from using it. We still used the chairs for the desert and mountain views at night. The shared kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast. All in all, I wasn’t ready to leave when y was time to leave 10 bits! I would recommend to anyone headed to Big Bend. »

Main cantina has shared refrigerators and space to put your groceries as well as a small fridge and microwave in the room. Bring water as the tap is non-potable. Off grid living at its finest!!! « The location was amazing! Awesome for star viewing. We were in cabin #8 so that spot was even better to sit and view. The only thing that happened was we had left to go to dinner, came back and someone had actually driven there truck and parked it right next to our window on the side and had already made a fire in the pit that was next to our porch. He offered to move over once we were there but he already had a fire going so we said it’s ok. For one there was no way to drive back there unless...

« Property was beautiful, and so was the surrounding area. Porta potty closest to our dome was not remotely clean at all, but the one 20 feet away from it was so it was no big deal. The first night was great, (other than getting bitten up) and then we woke up and made breakfast and left for our hike. When we got back to the dome, i attempted to make dinner and realized the area surrounding our food bags was being infested with ants that were getting through the cracks where the wall met the floor....

"L'hôtel est placé a quelques kilomètres de l'entrée du parc et de terlingua ghost town. Les lits sont confortables. La salle de bain n'est pas très grande. On peut se garer devant la porte de la chambre👌 Réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et cafetière fournis. Café offert à l'accueil.. distributeur de glaçons. Des tables sont mises à disposition autour de l'hôtel ce qui est pratique pour manger. Petit déjeuner possible, moyennant un supplément (nous ne l'avons pas testé) dans le bâtiment annexe qui fait aussi supérette. La laverie qui est située dans un autre des bâtiments, n'est pas ouverte tous les jours et seulement de 10h à 17h (accueil très moyen). Pas top quand on a randonnée toute la journée... dommage. Pas de wifi dans la chambre, il faut aller à l'accueil. L'hôtel est à la porte du "désert" il y a donc pas mal de sable. La moquette dans la chambre peut poser problème pour les personnes qui ont des soucis respiratoires. Station essence juste devant."
