"We absolutely loved Brownstone Lodge. Perfect location near Lough Carra in County Mayo. We were able to do some fishing when the weather allowed. The remoteness of the location was amazing, so quiet and so peaceful. And the lodge was well stocked, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of our caretakers and they made sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a lovely time and we cannot wait to come back!"

My husband and I--with our four-month-old son--and my parents were very comfortable in the spacious, lovely spot right in the center of town. I was so grateful for the ease of check-in and the attentiveness Seamus showed us whenever we had questions. "It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."
