Water is also available at the Mountainside office and pool area. Additionally, the owner has provided drinkable water in the unit. Water should only be used in instances where it is not being consumed. Enjoy the best that Stowe, VT, has to offer with an unbeatable location. You’ll be right near shops, après-ski, and dining while being directly next to the shuttle stop to the lifts. You can see the shuttle stop from the balcony, and can easily access it directly via the back stairway and across the lawn. Easily access the Stowe Recreation Path across the street behind Piecasso (about an 8-minute walk) for year-round fun, including nature walks, bird-watching, bike rides or cross-country skiing. This cozy three-bedroom condo with an in-unit sauna sleeps 6‒8, with two private queen rooms; one room with two twins, and a sofa bed. It includes a well-equipped kitchen (including a dedicated pizza oven for unbeatable late-night snacks), a spacious living area with a fireplace, and a large balcony with stunning mountain views. Whether you're unwinding after a day on the slopes or planning your next outdoor adventure, this condo provides the ideal retreat. Enjoy a heated indoor pool and hot tub at the community center of The Mountainside Resort at Stowe, as well as a fitness center, tennis/basketball court, and laundry facilities available for your use. Weather permitting, the gazebo with charcoal grills and outdoor dining areas provide the perfect setting for a relaxing evening under the stars. To access the slopes via the free shuttle, catch the “Darkside/uphill” shuttle (stop code 2574438) in front of the Blue Donkey Bar (the pale yellow building right next door that you can see from the balcony). It’s a 400-foot walk to the stop from the condo via the back stairs. Check the Route 108 bus schedule to verify for your dates, but in general the free shuttle runs every 15 minutes, and the ride is 10 minutes to Spruce Peak base and 15 minutes to Mansfield base. Things to Know Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Ski shuttle details: Mountain shuttle picks up and drops off at the resort office. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. But that’s about it. Due to contaminated drinking water, you can’t drink or cook with the water out of the tap. They do supply a jug of water and dispenser, but it’s not all that convenient and is left you wondering how to brush teeth or wash dishes easily. One of our showers was completely clogged so we had to stand in 1-2” of water while showering. I texted the manager about this and they said it would be fixed but it wasn’t during our 2 night stay. We often stay at condos and understand that they only give you a “starter pack” of supplies (toilet paper, paper towel, etc). Usually those supplies are totally sufficient, but here they left us with just one trash bag in the trash can but asked us to separate out recycling. I again asked manger about this and was told it was a standard starter pack. Finally, the place was clean but generally looks a little tired. The only common bathroom was down a steep, narrow, spiral staircase making life very difficult. Then after discovering this, we see the notice that the water is unsafe!!! The water dispenser provided went empty. the next morning. I called and was told to go in tje basement to turn the on!!!! No one knew what I was talking about. Aftee spending an entire morning trying to get water, we finally got bottles of water delivered. The dispenser never got filled. Upon arrival I found blood stains and hair on the bathroom doir. Nit Comforting. I had to complain about that and the dust dripping off the ceiling fan to get things clean . COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Overall, stressful and extremely disappointing.
