Having the hotel facilities like the bar, restaurant and breakfast on hand, you still have the option of a fully functional kitchen, lounge to relax and watch TV (World Cup Rugby in our case) and a private terrace to sit out on. "Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. The food onsite is good whether you require breakfast or a meal. The room was well equipped and it suited me as a solo traveller very well. "
"Very shabby inside, dirty furniture,unhygienic kitchen and no hot water in shower or bath.The shower also leaked from the wall fitting and gushed down the tiles.The carpets were dirty giving accomodation unpleasant smell. We decided to leave early but hosts didn't bother to ask if everything was ok. Would definitely not return!!!!"
