The historic Tarpon House built over 100 years ago as the original Tarpon Inn. Spoil yourself with not only the home’s historic charm but also it’s upscale amenities which make this home a 5 star estate.

Great, Affordable & Very Spacious

Had a great stay! Even with 10 people, we still had a lot of room. On kind of a busy corner, but was very quiet inside and so close to downtown. Well stocked and nice place, everyone was happy! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place for a family reunion

A lovely home! Lots of comfortable rooms and beds to accommodate a few families. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very nice backyard for playing games with the kids. Convenient off street parking. Thanks to George and Chas for providing this "home away from home"!

Great location!

Beautifully remodeled home. I believe I read it was built in the early 1900’s. Very centrally located with covered parking. We walked to the sponge docks! The historic section is even closer with great shopping and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

Great house for the money

The house was big enough for the 9 of us. It is an older home and has some challenges, but the location is great. The cleaning crew was rushed because of the renters before us did not leave on time, but wasn't anything that would prevent you from having a pleasant stay. The price was more than fair for the size and location of the home.

Great Spongey Get Away!

We absolutely loved the home- ice maker didn't work, but no other complaints- went to the sponge dock- eat at the restaurant there- if you're looking for fresh fish, that's the place to go. Eat Greek food that was great too- did some shopping- sitting on front porch watching the passer by's- just an all out great time-even being on main street and busy traffic it was great.

Great property

Great location. Our family of 7 was extremely happy with our stay and you could honestly sleep 16 if you had a few air matresses. From previous reviews I was concerned about the street noise but it was extremely minor and only the front bedroom off the top deck. Mainly idiots exceeded the speed limit after hours and a few commercial trucks speeding. The a/c is amazing being we traveled with the heat index over 100. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Location

The location was great. Within walking distance of the Sponge Docks and great restaurants. Take what you need with you, as no soap/shampoo was provided and other supplies were very limited. When I called the customer service number provided in the listing upon arrival, I was told that they no longer managed the property. Everything turned out okay and we had an enjoyable stay.

Family time in Tarpon

I adore old homes!! This one is no exception.. the size , the bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for a large family!! We had a group of 9 and everyone had their own room.. We had a hiccup in the checkin process, but the owner was finally contacted and assisted.. The location puts you right in the middle of everything, it is so convenient... we walked everywhere!!

Tarpon Springs

The property had one bedroom on the1st floor, descripition had 3 bedrooms on the first floor (we are aged seniors). The descripitions stated there was a firepit there was not, firepit was to allow us gents to smoke outside; as this is a non smoking property. Property amenities were over sold at best. It is a quaint little historial southern home that has been nicely upgrade; good place to sleep.

Fun Family Gathering

We had family fly in from all over the country for Christmas! It was wonder to have us all under one roof. The space and location were perfect. No issues with noise. It's a lovely old house..the owners have done a great job with remodeling. Still some minor issues with broken kitchen drawers that fall out, and some water pressure issues, some squeaky beds, but nothing major. Would definitely stay here again!
