« Lovely home with lots of cozy touches! Our favorite room was the very large screened porch with a dining table, comfortable wicker chair arrangements and two anti-gravity lounge chairs. From here we listened to the sounds of the creek and enjoyed amazing firefly shows every night. (We visited in July.) It was magical! The grounds are beautifully landscaped. « We fully enjoyed our stay at Sitting Bear cottage. It was super clean and perfectly outfitted for us to enjoy the fall leaves with family. Wonderful location surrounded by nature and close proximity to wonderful trails, sights and food. Looking forward to many future stays at this and other Flying Squirrel Cottages! »

« The house is perfect for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen had plenty of dishes to use for meals and the bed was comfortable. Host was quick to answer calls if I had a question. »

« Beautiful property with many conveniences of home and absolutely pristine clean facilities. Property is delightful and quiet, a wonderful place to call home while enjoying the winding roads and mountains all around. The only caution I offer is that the fold out bed is probably not suitable for anyone too tall. « We have rented for many years. Homes, cabins, etc. This cottage was outstanding. We were perfectly happy with the stay. Very clean. Everything seemed to be new. Privacy fence around the entire backyard, which was great for us as well as the dog. Near enough to downtown but approx. 3/4 mile or more to walk. All level walking area, but the heat can take its toll. There is plenty of parking in town, so if walking is an issue I suggest the short drive. The owners of the cottage were available at all...
