Top Son Talent Hotel Reviews

Hotel Millor Sol

8/10 Good

"The pool area is lovely however did not appreciate the life guard spitting on the floor when walking round. Last year we stayed here and we were able to grab a croissant before the dining room fully opened as we had an early flight. This year asked the dining room staff if we could grab a roll and was told no and to get out of the dining room even though it was only 5 minutes before official opening. Thought this was a little disappointing. Breakfast not bad and quite a nice choice and fresh. Sometimes found the hallways a little noisy with kids etc but acceptable. Overall this is a good hotel it is a little walk away from the bars but not a problem for us. Easy walk to Cala bona and a short bus ride to sa coma. We had a better room this time round, still very clean, however the toilet was a little wobbly!! We would return here again as loads of sun loungers, pool huge and clean but think we will try another part of the island next year."

Grupotel Alcudia Pins

"Excellent for families but less appealing for couples without children"

AluaSoul Mallorca Resort - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Nice hotel, big but clean. The beach was small but works and the swimming was lovely. You can walk to the marina for a nice dinner."

Grupotel Maritimo

10/10 Excellent

"I had a fantastic stay at Grupotel Marítimo and honestly couldn’t be happier with my choice. I’m so glad I booked this hotel! Location: The location is excellent. You can take a bus directly from the airport and the bus stop is only about a 3-minute walk from the hotel. The beautiful beach is also just a few minutes away on foot, making it perfect for a relaxing holiday. Room & Cleanliness: My room was very spacious, including the bathroom and I had a beautiful view of the pool from my balcony. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, well maintained and incredibly spacious. There was plenty of room in the lobby and throughout the hotel to sit, relax and enjoy yourself. Food: I stayed on a half-board basis and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. There was a huge variety of food to choose from with plenty of options. The quality and selection made it excellent value for money. Staff & Service: All the staff were extremely nice and welcoming. One thing that really impressed me was the service after checkout. I had an evening flight, so I spent the day enjoying the beautiful sunshine at the beach rather than missing out on such a lovely day. When I returned to collect my luggage, the hotel kindly provided me with a towel and allowed me to have a shower so I could freshen up before my journey. I really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Perfect hotel for a relaxing beach holiday with delicious food and excellent service. Huge thanks to all the lovely staff. Highly recommend!❤️"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Son Talent?

The best area to stay in Son Talent is the Port area, especially for those seeking a mix of luxury and convenience, or the Old Town for a more secluded, traditional experience. The Port area is the vibrant heart of Son Talent, known for its elegant marina filled with impressive yachts. The main promenade, Passeig Marítim, runs along the waterfront and is lined with high-end boutiques, restaurants, and cocktail bars. This area is superb for couples who enjoy evening strolls, fine dining, and people-watching, with many establishments offering views over the harbour. For those looking for a more tranquil and authentic experience, the Old Town, or 'Dalt Vila', offers a delightful contrast. Perched on a hillside overlooking the Port, its narrow, cobbled streets wind past historic buildings, charming local shops, and small, traditional eateries. It's an excellent choice for couples seeking a romantic and peaceful retreat, away from the busier waterfront, yet still within easy reach.

When is the best time to go to Son Talent?

The best time to go to Son Talent is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and early October. These months offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and good value.During May and June, the weather is warm and sunny, great for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities without the peak summer heat. The island is lush, and the sea is warm enough for swimming. It's an ideal time for couples looking for a romantic getaway or for families with younger children who can travel before the school holidays.September and early October also provide excellent conditions. The summer crowds have thinned out, but the sea remains warm for swimming, and the temperatures are still very agreeable. This period is particularly good for those interested in hiking or cycling, as the cooler temperatures make exploring the island's natural beauty more comfortable. Many of the island's restaurants and attractions are still open, offering a relaxed experience. While July and August offer the warmest temperatures, they are also the busiest and most expensive months, with beaches and popular sites often crowded.
