« We loved this short stay with our extended family. Very well equipped and something for everyone, young and old. Very clean, loads of space and lots of facilities. Loved the enclosed paddock area for the dog and some good walks nearby. The outdoor seating areas are excellent. It would have been good to know in advance that there wasn't a cafetiere in the kitchen or shower gel in the bathrooms especially as the place was so well stocked but this is a simple update of the property details. ...

« Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. »

« So, first of all the English breakfast. Have to pay extra for mushrooms (how rude and hence only 4 stars for it) but a good choice of continental food, cereal, yoghurt, pastries, jams. The room (I stayed in the lodge) very clean and spacious room however the radiator didn't seem to be working although towel rail in bathroom was but there was enough space for a wheelchair. Staff are diligent and friendly (both day and night) and I advised on the faulty socket in my room. I've stayed here before...
