« The bed were confortable and the room was large enough. Breakfast was good (except the coffee). When we entered the room there was a strong stench. It was the drain of the shower. They gave us perfume because we couldn't breath even with the window open. At night we had to closed the bathroom door and in the morning it was terrible. They didn't fix it after our first night and we hope they did after our stay. Plus, there was chewing gum on the contour sheet and we could not find the lady of the...

« Hotel avec parking, situation idéal pour visite d'oxford (arrêt de bus à 2 mn) de bleiheim palace et des cotswolds ! Accueil parfait - gentillesse des 2 dames au petit déjeuner (copieux et très bon). Attention malgré tout le charme de cette petite auberge, des travaux s'imposent (moquettes à changer) et insonorisation des fenêtres à prévoir. Chambre 5 (suite familiale) donnant sur le coté de la rue (très bruyant) : passage des voitures et la VMC ou extraction de cuisine qui tourne toute la nuit...

« A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” ! »

« Idyllic setting in a peaceful Cotswold village with beautiful gardens and views but still close to other towns and villages. Very nicely furnished bedroom and a fantastic large bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Only slight negative to our room (Pheasant Nest) was some noise from bedroom above (creaky floor and running water). Thoroughly recommended »

« Quite a good and decent and beautiful 4 star hotel. Service and staff were however far from being 4 star hotel. I had water run out in my bathroom while having shower, very laughable. Breakfast was incredibly poor and not representative of 4 star hotel. »

« Quaint old stone cottage style building with lots of history, beautifully preserved and decorated. Very comfortable bedding, modern shower with push button control. Conveniently located to town center, shopping, and bus stop. Restaurant on site was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. »
