Had a lovely stay. All the staff were really helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel itself was a such a lovely building and the grounds were nice and well looked after.

The hotel itself is full of character, beautifully blending Cotswold charm with modern comfort. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and our room was immaculate, comfortable, and filled with those little details that make a big difference. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made for the most restful night’s sleep we’ve had in a long time. The dining experience was another highlight. The food was exquisite — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Each course felt like a celebration of local produce, and the service throughout was impeccable. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding Cotswolds villages, with stunning walks and picture-postcard scenery right on the doorstep. Bed was like cardboard, flat pillows and the duvet and linen was very scratchy, certainly very old. Granted we did book the small room but we at least expected a decent bed for the price we were paying (£130/night) but the quality of bed was worse than hostels!

Mickleton has a very place in my heart as its where my grandmother was born and raised and where she met my grandad. They are both laid to rest together in the cemetery up the road. This was my 2nd visit here and i came alone. But i loved staying at this hotel, i felt very welcome and safe being there. I felt really comfortable and all the staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend your hotel and will definetly be staying here again on my next visit which i hope wont be very long. Thank you.

I booked via Expedia and was placed in a tiny room in the attic above the very large and noisy kitchen extraction fans. We were told that these would be switched off at 9pm and not started again until 7am. This was not a truthful promise. At nearly 10-30 pm I went to the bar and asked for the fans to be switched off so we could sleep. They were started up again at 6am to wake us up. Could we move room ? Yes if we paid the hotel extra money Good deal for them but why should we pay for them to solve a problem and make the stay acceptable. No customer service here ! We will not be staying at this hotel ever again.
