However seemed ironic that we had to pay a pet fee for our little dog when there were animals living there rent free. "

"The unit was one of a variety of cabins on the property. The layout of the cabin was a bit of a surprise as the listing on Expedia didn’t specifically identify the photos for each cabin. What we missed was a chair or two to sit on other than on the bed, but once seeing the size of the unit, it would be difficult to find room for that. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We prepared a meal there. The deck has a lovely forest view which we enjoyed....

"This cabin was perfect! I absolutely loved the details. It was very comfortable, had all the amenities we needed for a quick weekend getaway for a volleyball tournament. It was close to town. And the onsite manager Lori was very kind and accommodating!"

"We enjoyed a lovely short stay at The Sockeye house! We flew in from MN to visit family in Anchorage and everybody took a trip to Seward for a little extra Alaskan getaway. This was a spacious place to stay that accommodated 4 families of varying age ranges and sizes. Great location, beautiful property, everything we needed! And Mary Beth was great to communicate with! The Alaskans said they will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits. "

"The place is new. Everything is clean and modern. Nice kitchen with refrigerator, cooking facilities, and sink although the place is one open room and a bit cramped. Our room had no bed side lamp. Nice walk in closet and bathroom with new fixtures and finishes but sliding door doubles as the closet door, sliding between the two, and does not lock. I loved the location on the access road to the park but, not far from the harbor and downtown areas. "
