![This is a relatively common photo from visitors to Bucharest these days, at least in some form or another. 

Carturesti Carusel is one of those bookstores that has an atmosphere that is difficult to describe. Daunt, in London, is another that comes to mind.

Although the selection might not differ from that of a typical chain store, there's something so fantastic and wonderful about a place like this.
