This charming place is so well located if you want to be next to Forsyth Park and away from the bustle of the more touristy areas along the river and downtown. Quiet, tasteful decorated, incredibly friendly staff. With all the charm of a grand old Savannah house and all the comfort of staying with family where you can help yourself to the coffee and tea in the kitchen. It doesn’t have a bar or a pool. There is no scene. It’s the perfect hideaway. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher was due to a leaky air conditioner in our bathroom which could not get fixed over the weekend. Wish they allowed pets because we need to bring our dog when we go for our daughters graduation, but we'll stay there every other time we go, if available. It was very comfortable and cozy. A/C and fan kept the room a great temperature. Curtains kept the room dark for my husband - who likes to sleep in. There was a lovely little outdoor sitting space right off the room overlooking the courtyard and a great front porch to sit on with tea in the morning. Perfect small full bathroom. Our room was right at the top of the stairs and I worried about hearing others pass by - we didn't hear a thing. The very friendly staff asked for any special needs/requests twice prior to arrival and confirmed our requests when we arrived. Easy parking. Great breakfast - they were very prepared to deal with a variety of diets. We also appreciated that the staff showed us where we could get ice/tea/coffee for ourselves after regular business hours.
