« We loved staying here!! It was me, my husband, our friends who are a couple, and our small dog. The home & property are beautiful. Beds were comfy, kitchen was fully stocked, there were games & records to play. Loved watching the fireflies in the backyard. As Judy mentions, it’s well water, so there’s a sulfur smell/taste. We’re used to that so it wasn’t an issue, especially with the brita filter. If you have a dog who’s used to walking, just a heads up that there aren’t sidewalks. The yard...

« Beautiful, spacious, historic renovated schoolhouse, well appointed furnishings. Giant great room off the back and out to an expansive green which is NOT fenced enough to let your pet run loose, which they say in write up (our dog loved the great room to play in). A few things: If the weather is inclement, the firewood on the property along the fence will be wet. We arrived in rain and had sun the next two days but wood was wet, and could not locate any bagged firewood in Rhinebeck, so could not...
