Merry Villa is the perfect gateway located in a quiet neighborhood few blocks away from downtown Saugatuck. A modern chic villa specially prepared with a lot of design and amenities, with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, private outdoor hot tub gazebo, a gorgeous patio with elegant outdoor seating, outdoor shower, double seat glider swing, 2 parking spaces, Wi-Fi, Smart TV and much more. Every detail has been considered in this beautiful villa which was designed for luxurious comfort and relaxation.

Beautiful updated home on the ''Hill''. Great location close to downtown. Open concept living area with cozy wood burning fireplace (wood is not provided). Vaulted ceilings and wood floors throughout. Kitchen with solid surface counter tops, tile backslash and island snack ledge. Breakfast nook and a separate dining room. Relax in the gorgeous sun room (attached to the house through the garage) with floor to ceiling gas fireplace which opens up to the lovely patio area complete with wet bar, built-in grill, sitting area and hot tub, perfect for entertaining. The master ensuite on the main with beautifully designed master bath. Floor to ceiling tile as well as unique tile flooring. Soaking tub and large walk-in shower along with a walk-in closet and laundry complete this space. Two more spacious bedrooms, full bath and walk-in closet on the upper level.

We had a great last minute get away at this property. The hot tub was perfect. The house was comfortable and well stocked. Walking distance to downtown. We had brunch at Lady Bird and dinner at Bowdies.

Location of the house was amazing! We had a great time. The house itself is very nice and unique. We did have a few things that prevented us from giving 5 stars. The televisions did not give us access to live television. We did attempt to contact the host however the directions suggested by them didn’t work as planned. We hated to continue to bother them as we didn’t watch a lot of tv but it was definitely an inconvenience. We eventually had to get a free trial of YouTube tv to watch some games we wanted to watch. The ice maker did not come close to providing a normal amount of ice needed for 4 people. The house was clean however the hot tub was a little dirty. Overall the house was nice and we had a great time!

We loved our stay at Merry Villas. The home was clean and had many amenities that we appreciated. Check in and checkout were seamless. We had one slight need during our time there which was handled expediently by the property manager. The property was close to everything and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery and quick walks to downtown.

Photos of property do not machine what it looks like!

Outside photos do not match what it looks like ! Some work need to be done to improve outside property. Home inside is very nice! TV in some areas did not work ( was give a partial refund due to TV not working). Never followed thru with correct codes ! Air cond in one area did not work correctly! Was never fixed when reported. Beautiful bathrooms and great bedroom . Great location to town! Garage area needs to be cleaned out! Owners tried to be responsive but had some personal issues . I gave several recommendations to owners prior to leaving!

Lacking the Details!

Everything was great except the following:1. Don’t feel pictures are accurate of exterior conditions of property. Interior finishes were nice but the floor plan/functionality is poor and not represented well in online pictures/description.2. The main living room area air conditioner was not up to par. Were notified during our stay it needed replaced. A credit was offered but with summer temps in effect it was pretty miserable and offered credit didn’t offset impact on vacation. 3. If you review photos the exterior the backyard space is highlighted as something special. The outdoor kitchen was disgusting and not really even useable without a deep clean which we chose not to do. This area is also overgrown with weeds, vines, etc. which has attracted carpenter ants galore. 4. The property manager has notified us asking for pictures, which I have added to this review, but never offered to come by and see for themselves. Just didn’t appreciate their lack of interest in making things better with this facility.

This was one of the best places we’ve stayed in Saugatuck! The house was spacious, had a very cool vibe, and was very walkable to all our favorite downtown spots. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great property in a great location!

My husband and I just rented this property for 3 nights with his parents. I love the open floorplan of the main level and the kitchen had all the amenities we needed and all the furniture was comfortable. The location absolutely can't be beat - a quiet neighborhood within a 5 minute (if you're a fast walker) walk to the shops and restaurants of downtown. The location was especially key since there was zero free parking downtown on Memorial Day weekend. We loved our stay!

Fun Winter Getaway

We just wanted to get away for few days to unwind over the kid's midwinter break. This house was perfect. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. There was a lot of room to stretch out and relax. Just a few steps from downtown made running out to lunch and dinner easy. We would recommend and stay here again.

Fantastic place, perfect for family vacation

My husband and I traveled with our 3-yr old daughter and my mom who has limited mobility. The first floor master bedroom accommodations were perfect for her and the upstairs bedrooms worked great for us. The outdoor space was wonderful. We grilled, enjoyed the patio and our daughter loved having lots of space to move around, inside and outside. They provided freshly ground coffee for the coffee maker, which we enjoyed every morning. The beds were comfortable, place was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked as described. We had excellent communication with the host. He reached out before, during, and after our visit to make sure all was going well. Since my husband and I also had to do some remote work, we really appreciated the extra enclosed space on the other side of the garage. Absolutely wonderful! The location was great- we could walk to downtown and everything just as described. We highly recommend this place and we would love to stay again on a future family trip.

Perfect location to walk downtown! House was really nice but the outdoor living area was not quite up to par with the pictures. The outdoor grill area was gross, but we didn’t need it so it wasn’t a big deal. Any minor issues were taken care of the same day. Thanks for a great stay!

This house was even more beautiful than the pictures! This house is centrally located, with a short walk into town. The outdoor space is beautiful and the interior was perfect. The master bedroom and bathroom were gorgeous. Very clean! Would definitely recommend this house.
