I had a great stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location. The subway is nearby and Tanukikoji Shopping Street is just a short walk away with lots of restaurants and shops. I enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. On our trip to Japan, this hotel was much more (in a good way) than we had expected. The rooms were average, but the overall experience was the best in a long time. The staff was great, and the breakfast was a very impressive buffet. We wish we could have spent more time there.

Exceptional buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. And proximity to Odori Koen was convenient however, the added fee for the onsen use along with the unexpectedly small room size left the 3 of us dissatisfied with the overall experience. We stayed at Sapporo Mitsui Garden West on 07/10/25 and felt the overall experience was better. Certain amenities at Prince stand out as 5 star (restaurant food quality, elevator quality and condition, front lobby efficiency and language proficiency), but the small room size was the factor that was a unanimous turnoff.

Snow Festival stay

We came for the Sapporo Snow Festival and this hotel was in a great location for our trip. Aside from being walking distance, the near by tram stops made it easy to have excursions to other parts of the city, like to Susukino for example.
