Will come back again. Getting to the hotel: Hotel has a carpark for those renting cars but there is a shuttle bus service provided by the hotel from Sapporo JR Station. Room for 2 Pax was clean, spacious, serene. Service was great, Breakfast and Dinner was especially enjoyable with the view from the lounge.

Clean room with an onsen. Staff were very friendly and dinner/breakfast was good. The bar lady was very good at serving us drinks.

Room was very clean. Bath in room was excellent. Dinner and breakfast was wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay there again. Beverage machines on the floor did not have much which was disappointing. Free shuttle bus was a plus too.

We were sad when we have to check out of a marvelous hotel like this - room, onsen, food, service, view were all spectacular! We shall return next year to see the autumn leaves once again!

The room was big with a grand view window which was just fantastic. The in-room private onsen was so wonderful ! The public open air onsen was also very nice. Traffic between Sapporo and the hotel was convenient with the free shuttle service provided. I will come again.

The neighbourhood around Jozankei was absolutely beautiful. A true winter wonderland! The staff was super nice even with the language barrier, I could feel their sincerity and warmth.

Gorgeous property with views of the mountains from the lobby to hotel rooms. Very clean and spacious room. Private onsen was perfect and relaxing! Staff were great from the front desk to restaurant. We appreciated the staff assisting with calling a taxi the night before for our departure the next morning. We would love to stay here again.

Enjoyed the private bath in the room. Meals were excellent. Beautiful hotel. Easy access with the shuttle bus. Check in was a bit confusing. Told to have a seat but no one came to check us in. I had to go to the desk after everyone checked in.

#### impressive view of the futama valley from our room

the views.. the views.. lovely autumn mountain views from our wide hotel window and convenient to go to futami valley river and futami red suspension bridge by car - the autumn leaves everywhere are breathtaking. roast beef dinner at the hotel (included in rate) melts in your mouth. japanese style breakfast (also included in rate) is perfect to start the day. our in room onsen is so awesome and relaxing. would love to stay again

This a beautiful hotel which seems brand new. The staff is wonderful and the meals are great. There isn’t much to do in Jozankei and there are very limited lunch options around (the hotel serves breakfast and dinner). We had a room with a private onsen which was great. Great views of a mountain right in front of the room. If you want to chill and relax you may love it. But don’t expect lots of activities. Loved eating sushi for breakfast. Very quiet and tranquil. We loved sitting in the library even though we couldn’t read the Japanese books.

I cannot say enough good about this property. The room and grounds were gorgeous & clean. The location was magical. All staff were outstanding with their service. One of our party had a food allergy, and we are always cautious to have back up food in case of cross contamination. The staff here verified the allergy information many times and ensured our guest with an allergy could enjoy the divine food with us safely. We will be staying again in every season, I'm sure!

I was almost hesitant to share my heavily experience. It was just too good. Almost unreal. Maybe I got lucky but there were almost no people. I was pretty much by myself in onsen. My first onsen time in Japan. This place is absolutely amazing! The best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed. The room is gorgeous, the food is delicious and onsen super relaxing. I don’t even know how can I live without it now. 5 star experience! Definitely will be coming back here.

Stayed with my teenage son and my 75 yr old mom with the private onsen room as I have tattoos . It was the most luxurious experience ever ! So beautiful , from the entrance to the room to the dining experience . Spent two nights ! Massage was wonderful I did body scrub one night and relaxation second night . Walkable to near by shops . Across the street there is a small restaurant Francais it was sooooo good , stop by for lunch . Vintage seating maybe not ideal for tall folks .must try the dessert toast omg that was amazing . Walking distant to small park with public free foot onsen , a family mart and a souvenir shop plus nice picturesque opportunities , will definitely come again .we came in April 14-16 there was still snow cap mountains , one night of rain and second night was lovely . We saw a deer run past us in the park and it made the nature walk a tad more special ! Hotel has great souvenirs too ! They arranged taxi service to airport for 6,000 yen flat rate . It would have been well over 10,000 if we didn’t use hotel to arrange . In translation that’s $60 vs $100 for a 25 min ride .
