"The motel architecture is in a lovely Spanish style. There were a few homeless people around the corner, but it felt safe. The breakfast was consisting of toast and bagel, cream cheese, fruit, coffee and instant oatmeal. "

"Discovered Carpinteria quite by accident while road-tripping. It has much of the charm of Santa Barbara at half the price. From brewery to dinner to breakfast we found great food and a lively atmosphere. The hotel was attractive, the staff friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and is walkable to downtown. Most rooms have a balcony. Ours was over a lovely courtyard. The beds were quite comfortable. I would stay here again when visiting the area."

"The hotel was undergoing renovation on the outside so there was scaffolding everywhere and the windows were covered so there was no view. However, the inside lobby and rooms had been completed and were very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was updated and roomy, and the room was very spacious. When the outside is completed it will be a amazing."

"The staff was so helpful. I had to stay there between leases, so it was a stressful time and they made it so much easier. Everyone working there was polite and knowledgeable. The location is great and while the property itself is a little older, the rooms are nicely renovated and very clean."
