Beautiful Craftsman Style Home

  • This Original Seabright Beach single story cottage was converted in the early 1900's to a two story Craftsman Bungalow. The home is furnished with nautical decor. Upstairs sunroom looks out to the bay and municipal pier beyond. Peaks of the ocean from other upstairs bedrooms. Upstairs bathroom is large with old fashion clawfoot soaking tub. Downstairs has a large living room, large dining room, large kitchen with eating nook, a large bathroom with a shower, also a private bedroom off the front porch, and the west bedroom with its own enclosed sun porch. The home sits on a corner lot surrounded by well kept lawns and gardens with many cozy sitting areas, some with a view of the beach, a welcome after a long day at the beach. Wake up each morning to the gentle reminder that you're as the beach with the sound of waves and sea lions barking in the distance.

We have stayed here before and always have a wonderful time. The location is wonderful with the beach, restaurants and stores nearby. Getting to stay in a vintage home that's fairly well taken care of is a treat. We hope to stay there again!

Very large home with lots of character a block from the beach.

7 family members including a baby were in Santa Cruz for a college graduation. This home offered us plenty of space with alot of charm. Close to the beach and a lovely yard are added amenities!

Another great time at a great house

This is the second time we've stayed here, and both times have been great. Its got lots of room for our big group, ample parking and a good size yard which is rare in Seabright.

The location was amazing! One block from the beach and walking distance to the Boardwalk and downtown. The bottom floor bedroom with connecting bathroom were perfect for my elderly mom. Windows could use some screens so guests can get fresh air without bugs.

Great location

The location is great and yard is beautiful. Loved the outside bathroom and shower. Large home for a family vacation. No washer and or dryer on property, carpets and sofas need to be cleaned. Owner and cleaner were great and helpful.

Very nice neighborhood with easy access to the beach. House is bigger than it looks on-line; plenty of room inside and out for five adults and four kids. We all loved being there.

Family birthday celebration weekend

The immediate family and grandchildren were able to stay comfortably at this beach rental. The location is close to everything we love about Santa Cruz. The kitchen is well stocked in case you forget a spice, cups, napkins etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. It is a place we definitly would like to stay in the future.

Great Family Retreat

We love the nostalgic charm of this beautifully restored home, lovely yard, and surrounding exploration spots. This home offers indoor and outdoor spaces to come together as a family, but ample space to retreat for a while. Perfect for our daughter, their husbands, and grandchildren!

Fun family memories

We really enjoyed this house! We were some of the out-of-town family members visiting Santa Cruz for a family wedding. We loved being so close to the beach, and we loved the house! Many of the details reminded our older generation of a grandmother's 1920s house in southern California, and of a cousin's coastal house in New England. We're hoping to stay there again!

Great vacation spot

A well-stocked home just a block from the beach with a few eclectic touches, like the pastor’s room, to keep things interesting. Dave stopped by as we were arriving to say hello, always a nice touch, and let us know on our last day that we could stay past the check out time if we wanted. All of us (7 adults) loved the house and the location.

Fun Stay in lovely Santa Cruz home

Nice large home with comfortable furniture, large dining room for 10 , kitchen stocked with everything you could need! Outdoor space to sit n relax n kids to play ! There was 10 of us 6 adults and 4 children ages 17,15,8,5 ! We all had a great time ! Walking distance to Seabright beach n Boardwalk! Lots of good eating spots close by too! Would stay again!
