"First, the ocean view was amazing. The room was clean and well equipped. Cleaned daily, staff friendly and helpful. The layout and design of the resort is very cool, I love the Mayan jungle vibe. Had the hot stone steak and shrimp at Pineapples and it was awesome. Definitely plan to come back as soon as possible...now if they could do something about the amount of sargassum that washes up constantly, they try hard, constantly raking it up and hauling away by the many truck fulls.. Highly recommend!"

"The resort is beautiful and the casita was very well laid out. The only negative about the room was the couch and chairs were pretty uncomfortable. Also, be aware the casitas have several steps going between living room and kitchen; kitchen and bedroom, and then bedroom and bathroom, so be careful of tripping. Also, the web site does state it, but you have to look, during slow season the indoor restaurant is closed, so the only option is the pool bar or driving the golf cart to another location which is going to be as close as 10 minutes or as far as 30."
