"They lost my reservation, for a king size bed in a non-smoking room. They only had small double bed, smoker room. I really hate smell of cigarettes and I had no other options. Then they made me give a cash deposit, which was not on the Expedia website. I had to drive around at night looking for a gas station with an ATM and pray one of the drug addicts that was loitering in the parking lot didnt rob me. On top of all that, the AC didnt work the best, the mattress was hard, and the window didt latch shut. I will never return to that location and this has me questioning using Expedia in the future. "

"Felt safe, quiet and comfortable. Pretty much clean besides crumbs and a plastic cup left on one chair and someone’s shirt left behind. Other than the staff was helpful and nice. Only stood one day"

"The property is beautiful. The view is absolutely spectacular. The room is lovely and comfortable with extras.Make sure to watch your step when you first walk in. And the black flooring from the area where the bed is to where the sitting area is has a step as well...hard to see. I had to keep reminding myself not to trip. I only found one outlet in the room, but it did have several units so we were able to plug in our two phones and my watch. But if you have a lot of other stuff, you may want to contact the host.The host was very accommodating and communicative. I love that there's a video she sends to give you info on what to expect when you get there. It was so helpful.The whole area is fenced in, but there was an open area near the carport where our dog was able to get out. Watch your dog. If you're not steady on your feet, be really careful on the walk down to the seating area near the cliff. A walking stick came in really handy. But once there, it's just incredible. We got to watch hang-gliders make their way through the sky.Make sure to use the host's handy-dandy jar of peanuts to feed the Blue Jays. That was a highlight of the morning. Watching them, the finches, the squirrels, and the quail was a beautiful part of our visit.The drive into town isn't long and it's so charming. If you haven't been to Crestline before, make sure to use your GPS. There are a lot of forks in the road, lots of turns, and it could be easy to get a bit lost. "

"host agreed to the pool being heated for 8 days if I paid for 6 days, the pool guy showed up/ no notice our 2nd day at 5pm, according to host you need 2 nights minimum to heat pool, so we lost 4 day of 190 a day to heat pool. the temperature dropped to the 40's and tried to turn on the heater on but found out that it was locked out and operated by the host. Had an elderly woman who was anemic with us hoping that she would be ok. We heard the lawn guy who came at 9am, loud lawn equipment right at our windows with no notice for 4 hours , why couldn't they do the lawn before we got there or after! then our last day 2 pool guys showed up before our checkout , no notice just walk in the backyard, we just looked up and there they were! Blatant disrespect for privacy! Was very glad when we left ! WE SHOULD ONLY BE CHARGED FOR 2 DAYS AT 190 A DAY FOR POOL, SINCE THE HEATER WAS TURNED ON AT 5PM OUR 2ND DAY AND HOST SAYS IT TAKES 2 DAYS FOR IT TO HEAT."

"Cozy little cabin. Its small, but proper for the value. Good laction and easy to find. However, the communication with non existent. I tried contacting him a couple of times with no luck. This alone is a big issue to me. "

"Very cozy cabin. Loved the view off the balcony and the board games provided. We had never heard of the game, Brew, but loved it so much we bought it before we arrived home.Host was amazing. Place was super clean and stocked with all we needed to enjoy a quiet weekend in the mountains. "
