"They hotel needs maintenance. Staff was nice but the room was never clean"

"The over night clerk was very ignorant. Apparently my tv was too loud and the front desk came and kicked on my door. Then apparently the guy in room that was cleaning started beating my door down. Then got in my face and told me to turn my tv down. I am a heavy sleeper and was watching movies on Netflix and TV was not that loud as I could not hear out my door or in the bathroom with the door closed. The front desk guy when I went up to complain he said it was between me and the other guest it was non of his business asked me if I want another room. So why did he not offer the other room to the guest next door complaining. Then when I asked his name he grab his name tag and pushed it towards in a manner as he didn’t GAF. First time ever having an issue and was handle very poorly. "

"The hotel and casino were wonderful. The staff was so kind and helpful. The food was okay. We wish they had a proper breakfast available not just two egg sandwiches. //we had to go elsewhere to get breakfast which was a pain. We would definitely go back but hope they do something about the food issues."

"I want to preface this by saying the staff is very kind, some of the nicest staff I’ve encountered anywhere. Would I stay here again though? Most likely not. The rooms are quite tinny, with ceilings like a corporate office building. Our bed had a few stains on the bed skirt, which we looked past because that’s not used when we sleep. When I went to go under the sheets, I noticed another stain. So, I called the front desk to ask for new bedding. The gentleman brought new bedding immediately and offered to make the bed, but we just undid and redid the bed ourselves. He let us know he would contact housekeeping to fully redo our bed the next day at 11am during check out time. We got back to our room late that next day at around 10pm, and our room was a we left it with no new bedding. But it was okay because we got new bedding the night before. But it would’ve been a kind gesture because of the stains on our bed. The mattress isn’t bad in my opinion, we’ve slept well. The AC does not work, nor does the heater. But they provide heaters and fans upon request. The window doesn’t open, so no fresh air. After one day, our room started to smell like cigarettes, which then led into our towels. I think that’s mostly just the crowd that stays here. The sink is clogged and doesn’t drain properly, but the water gets super hot which is nice. They do provide complimentary breakfast, but it was just some bagels and pastries and cereal. The milk tasted rotten."

"Room was very large but only one chair besides the desk chair. Hotel is very outdated with popcorn ceilings and not enough soundproofing. Very expensive for the area considering the age of the hotel. Consider staying in Boardman with better choices of restaurants. Also a lot of truck and train noise. Staff was very nice."

"I thought I was told it was $15 a night for a pet(very small dog). I was charged $50 a night. There is also NO elevator at this hotel. "

"Clean and quiet room. Breakfast was great as normal for Holiday Inn."
