« Hairdryer only operated on low. Elevator was questionable. It jerked and often landed lower than the floor creating a step & possible tripping hazard. Front desk gentleman was alone and very busy, but went above and beyond to offer help if needed. He was very apologetic about the wait checking in even though we were not overly concerned. »

« I expect a typical “free breakfast” when I stay at a roadside hotel…scrambled eggs, sausage, an assortment of breads and cereals…the usual fare for such establishments. The bar is not very high. Unfortunately, Fairfield in Wheeling didn’t make it over the bar. The assortment of offerings was fewer than the average, and no breakfast meat, at all. When the expectation is pretty low to begin with, failure to meet the expectation is disappointing. You gotta pick up your game, Fairfield. »

« I stayed in the lodge area which is the older hotel area king size bed on July 4 the rate was 200dollers understood a holiday.The carpets are filthy in the halls and the hallway smelled like weed which is strang because this is a non smoking hotel.The room was average served the purpose again the carpets in the were filthy.Now for the casino part should of stayed home no entertainment if you like video slots you good I do not expected more real slots.I used to go here allot 7 years ago always...

« The hotel itself was nice. Unfortunately, while we were there, EVERYTHING was either broken or under construction. The swimming pool is being renovated. It's been under construction for a year. The workout facility is ALSO under construction. The ice machine is GONE! You have to go to the front desk to ask for ice. They were working on the roof when we were staying there so there was constant workers in the parking lot. Now, here is the POSITIVES. The workers were AWESOME! They can't control...

« This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast. To me it almost felt like staying at strangers house, EXCEPT the owner made us feel like life long friends!! This was a great experience, because of the owner. If you’re going to a concert at The Pavilion at Star Lake or just in the area this is a great place to stay. »
