« We travel to Rye a couple of times per year to visit family and since there’s no room for us with family we need a place close by to stay. This met all of our needs. It’s comfortable, well stocked and has a fenced yard for our little dogs. It’s close to our family but there’s also plenty to do and see while you’re there. We drove to Westcliiffe and saw the beautiful fourteeners mountain range and ate lunch at Chappy’s Bar and Grill. We highly recommend it for the beautiful scenery and good food!...

« We spent our time at Cuchara Park and this home was the perfect location for us. The Host goes above and beyond here. I highly recommend this place - I will still hear next time we come through La Veta. The house has everything you need! Perfect for a man like me who loves chopping wood and having fires. The inside had a big kitchen for the wives. The rooms have tons of board games for the kids. You will love this place; I know we did. »

« We spent Thanksgiving 2023 at this property while we were in Pueblo visiting family. We LOVED it! The home was beautiful and clean. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the property and even had our aunt who lives in the area join us for the meal. The large open-concept layout was perfect for chatting while preparing the food. Our 7 yo son enjoyed the video games downstairs. The fenced yard was huge and very well maintained. We traveled with a pet and he loved exploring all the trees and bushes....

« Property was as advertised, well maintained with a good variety of kitchen items. The children loved their own space upstairs with a nice variety of toys and books. There was also a large variety of games appropriate for the whole family as well as videos/DVDs. Communication with the owner was exceptional-quick and complete! »

« The house could use a little work from a handyman. The bathroom downstairs needs alot of attention. Also the 2 bedrooms downstairs have no windows which means there is no emergency exit should something happen...maybe you should only offer the upstairs for guests. The house did meet our needs and its location was very accessible to many venues we went to in Pueblo. »

« This is the second time we have stayed here and once again, it was great. This property very well appointed and well maintained. It is a short walk to Main St. La Veta, which is very nice. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon, with the sun and the Cuchara River is very relaxing. It is a great choice! »

« Spacious living area. We used all three main floor bedrooms. I cannot imagine putting anyone in the basement bedroom, but we did appreciate the large sized washer and dryer down there! We walked the neighborhood around the college campus and discovered the Einstein Bagels, a great place for a very early breakfast. »

« We had a baseball tournament for my sons team at Runyon field and this was a perfect location. Right near the field, right near the highway to get on I 25 and go anywhere we need, etc. The house itself is super cute and there was a lot of room for us. »
