It's a unique stay to be surrounded by sheep and lambs in a picturesque location. We were even given the opportunity to feed the lambs ourselves! »

« A great place to stay for us as a stop over on the way to France via the tunnel (20 mins drive).Really comfortable beds, very clean, newly renovated, with a small sitting room and two beds with 2 bathrooms. Just what we were looking for and they let dogs stay. We usually stay in a Premier Inn but this was far better value, plus the pub downstairs was excellent. Good choice of beer, great food and perfect hospitality - what more could you ask for?? Fully recommended! »

« Despite the heatwave, we had a very comfortable stay. Cosy double bed and our daughter loved the bunk bed. Handy little kitchenette, and it's easy to have barbecues. Our daughter loved looking after the baby lambs. Kristina kindly let her feed milk to them several times during our stay. »

The kettle could do with a descale but everything else was fabulous and that they allow a dog. The fish and chip shop nearby was super and the 2 pubs in either direction also The detailed communications for check in and reminder for check out time were helpful. Thanks ! »

Had a small issue so we called Jonny who answered on the 2nd ring, talked us through the solution, and then gave us some tips on things to do. Great service. « Me and my Partner stayed at Lookerer Shepards hut for two nights! Kristina and her family have the most beautiful land filled with sheep, lambs, cows and chickens, incredible views of Kent’s country side. The shepherds hut was well equipped everything you need and also items which makes the stay feel home from home. As a sheep lover this was the most perfect weekend, watching sunsets with a book and waking up in the morning looking out to a crowd of sheep and little lambs was truly magical....

« 4 night stay April 2026 (Sunday to Thursday) - accommodation very clean, comfortable and modern, hosts very welcoming - location peaceful (a few sheep and horses over the fence at the bottom of the garden, but no noise) and nice dark skies (I saw a few Lyrid meteors during my stay!). Great kitchen facilities (so you can easily self-cater if you want) and excellent shower, better accommodation than a hotel if visiting the area IMHO. « Room was very clean but this third party check in is for the birds. Foreign country / no available internet to look up info. Thanks to a lovely shop owner we were able to contact the host. He said he didn’t receive my info but I had sent it. What happened - who knows. So I had to resend it with the help of our wonderful shop owner friend! More to the story but I just want to forget the awful experience! »
