« We left two nights early because of having to fight ants from the first night. The place smelled of dogs so strongly we had to open all the windows to air it out. The kitchen cabinets were filthy underneath the dishes so we hand washed everything we touched. The doors underneath the sink almost fell off when i opened them. The house seems to be used regularly but not cleaned well often. I would give a zero rating if I could and would definitely like a partial refund! »

« Overall, ok. I would love to give a 5 star review however there were issues. Check in time was 4 pm. When we arrived there was a car out front so we thought we had the wrong address. We couldn’t check in until 5 because cleaners were still there. Owner was aware and didn’t offer anything for our inconvenience. We had been driving for 5 hrs. « Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The management company, Evolve, has been extremely dismissive and will only give me a refund worth 1/4 of the daily total, even though I gave notice, asked for a refund, and...

« Wonderful! Beautiful accomodations. Very centrally located. Within walking distance to Point Defiance Park, a must see while in Tacoma. Host was wonderful. I would highly recommend her cottage to all, and I hope to return here in the future. »

« We stayed at this cozy beach house while waiting for our new house to close. Our kids (3 & 7) loved the little playset and the beach and spent most of the week outside. It was great! Communication with the host when a concern popped up was excellent and they promptly responded and handled the situation. We really enjoyed our stay and the view was amazing.
