« This place is like one out of a fairytale. Most spacious! The property owner cooked amazing l meals and brought them to the room herself! They are wonderful people to meet! There are so many places within walking distance to see and enjoy in the area. The people who lived on the island are so very kind and gracious! Absolutely stunning home! Full of jacobite history for those Outlander fans! It was the best vacation i could have ever wished for! »

« You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. Would give Hope to be back again. Thank you for the amazing stay »

« 3 jours au calme, les pieds dans l'eau dans ce cottage charmant, avec beaucoup de cachet, bien rénové et équipé. Terrasse en bord de plage, une vue extraordinaire sur la mer et l'île de Bute. Le village de Kames est très calme et très beau. Coup de cœur de notre voyage en Écosse ! »

« Endroit vraiment magnifique de calme et d’une ambiance intemporelle située sur le rivage de Holy Loch. Tout est parfait, propre, joli, typique, spacieux et fonctionnel. L’animation quotidienne est l’amarrage du bateau Ferry sans bruit au bout de la propriété . La météo beaucoup moins ingrate que dans les montagnes plus au nord. Bon point de départ pour des excursions avec une voiture. Situation à 10km de Dunoon. Magnifique, à recommander ! »

« Iain and Margaret are welcoming and generous hosts, not only with the unexpected but gratefully received extras when we arrived for us and our four legged family member, but they are so generous with their time as well. Auchnabreac Cottage is perfect inside and out, and is extremely well equipped. My family and I would highly recommend Iain and Margarets lovely holiday home »

« The Shelduck cottage is a excellent base for exploring this scenic part of Scotland. Easy access to the Ferries to Bute/ Tarbert and Dunoon ..Andrew , our host was very helpful and made our stay memorable.We used a wheelchair and his concrete ramp was ideal for entering and leaving this spacious property. Would recommend this quiet location overlooking loch Riddon. »
