Some things about the room were a little worn out (window paint and carpet), but the character and warmth of the space outweigh any of that. The bed was very comfortable. I found the whole experience restful. And the air conditioning worked really well for an old building. Staff was also warm and welcoming. "

"We arrived late (just before 11pm) and were from our car to the front desk to our room in minutes. Our room was a bit small in relation to floor-space, but had plenty of surfaces to put our stuff, and our bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean as well. Breakfast offerings were a bit on the weak side. Just enough to get me to lunch, but a bit sparse in relation to others I've had. Overall, an excellent hotel in a very convenient location."
